Let me know if you need other details!īy the way, amazing Mod, it's actually the best mod I have installed right now, it makes the whole game super super convenient to the point where I can't live without it now LOL. The solution as you suggested was removing the remote access block which seemed to fix it completely, I am running on a server with the Thorium, Calamity, Pumpking and reduced grinding mods installed on Tmodloader 0.9.2.3 if that helps. All storage units would tell you their current capacity, but neither the heart nor the access block would function. I placed the remote access block half the map away and was able to access the system from there.Ī short time after that (not sure if it was immediately or after logging in and out) trying to use the system from home would result in my character standing completely still and all vanity items not being visible (resulting in this armor change that has been reported), while the system interface wouldn't show up. I mean when you open the stash it still accesses all of them, so it should be possible to make that combined inventory condensed into a single item. Put simply, most worlds and players won't ever have enough items to ever run into the issues it may cause.Īnd I really doubt splitting them up into 640-stack sets really helps in any noticeable way. While there may be issues later on once you have hundreds of thousands of items, it's unlikely to be a major factor in most games. The only other thing I know of that's similar is the cheat-sheet "auto delete items" option next to the trash, and I don't want to tempt my self to just spawn stuff instead of working for it.Īs for the creative thing, (and keep in mind I'm not a dedicated coder, so I may be entirely wrong) but it should be possible to use the same code as the normal ones and just uncap it (or set a cap that's somewhere in the billions or some such thing to make it functionally infinite). It's not a real necessity or anything, but I'd prefer just trashing dirt instead of filling up a storage with them. As for the /dev/null, I get that we could just have the portable storage, but I'd rather have a way to just auto-delete items once I have 1000+ of some kind of block. But whenever I try to install any upgrade, nothing happens. Second question: is my understanding that to upgrade the size of each unit, you hold the upgrade gem or whatever & right click on the storage unit, and you can then see the gem in the center on the unit. It kept reinstalling the old version of magic storage, but after some deletions and reinstallations, I got the recent version and fixed the crafting bug.įeel free to comment and I might be able to help you out.Click to expand. That's good to know, though now I'm wondering if a stack-uncapper mod also applies to the stacks in the chest.? Could be a workable exploit in there. Because when I tried connecting a few dozen, only the first 10-12 were active. Ignored it, reset my PC, and reinstalled the mod again. Update 2: Uninstalled and reinstalled the mod, but upon resinstallation, my game crashed saying it ran out of game memory. I can't craft anything at all, because nothing even shows up as an option. Update: I just did some troubleshooting on a different world, and the Magic Storage gives me ZERO recipes whatsoever. This issue applies to 90% of the things I try to craft. I simply cannot craft them through the Storage. However, if I try to craft something simple like silk or any basic ore (iron, silver, gold, etc) tools/armor and I'm 100% sure I have the materials, absolutely no recipes appear. Any help would be fantastic.Ī quick example of the issue is that the recipe for the Goblin Battle Standard appears, despite me not having the materials required. I play on full screen, 120% UI scale, 1920x1080 resolution, and I even tried using vanilla stations inside the Magic Storage (I have many QOL mods, including combined stations, but have never had any issues until now). Normal, placed stations work fine, so I know this a Magic Storage issue. TL DR: my issue is that Magic Storage is only allowing me to craft seemingly arbitrary and random items, while not even showing me the possible recipes for others, even if I have the required materials, station, and proper filter. However, I disabled it and Magic Storage is still busted. I haven't had any issues in my world until just now, right after I downloaded Item Checklist. I'm also very familiar with the Magic Storage mod, and know how it works pretty well, but I recently got a bug or maybe I'm just stupid, and I can barely craft anything at all. I want to preface this discussion by saying that I have thousands of hours on terraria, and hundreds on tmodloader.
